Passing Down the Craft:<\/strong> That year, thanks to the generous sponsorship of the late Chairman Mr. Chen Tian-Tzu of Han Lin Publishing in Tainan, we were able to beautifully design and print the book. It was distributed to young residents, scrub nurses, and medical students so that they could better understand and immerse themselves in the surgical philosophies and techniques of their mentors while participating in operations.<\/p>\n Recently, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that my eldest son still reads this book. After contacting the current Chairman Mr. Chen Yen-Liang and Manager Ms. Yi-Chin of Han Lin Publishing, I confirmed that the original print files are still preserved. With the help of my friend of 30 years, Chairman Po-Tsang of Rushi Information Co., Ltd., we have organized the files and uploaded them to the cloud.<\/p>\n
How I Perform This Surgery<\/em> is a treasured surgical manual. Back in 2009, when I served as the Director of the Department of Surgery at National Cheng Kung University Hospital, I co-authored this book with my colleagues. I asked everyone to briefly write about the key “tips and tricks” they applied during surgery.<\/p>\n
