[Event Announcement]<\/strong> In response to Taiwan\u2019s rapid transition toward a super-aged society<\/strong> and the increasing pressures on the National Health Insurance (NHI) system\u2019s finances and structural reforms<\/strong>, the Tainan City National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) College of Medicine Alumni Association<\/strong> will host the \u201cNational Health Insurance Forum: The Future and Direction of NHI\u201d<\/strong> on Sunday, November 9, 2025<\/strong>, at the Third Lecture Hall of NCKU College of Medicine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n This forum aims to bring together distinguished experts and leaders<\/strong> from government, academia, and industry to engage in a comprehensive dialogue on Taiwan\u2019s NHI policy design, institutional framework, and practical implementation. Prof. Lee will share his insights and experiences from his tenure as NHIA Director-General, including initiatives such as the NHI MediCloud integration<\/strong>, hierarchical medical care<\/strong>, and violation management mechanisms<\/strong>. His talk will address key issues such as the NHI point system<\/strong>, payment structures<\/strong>, co-payment reforms<\/strong>, coverage for genetic testing<\/strong>, chronic disease management<\/strong>, and workforce imbalance<\/strong>.
